LPA Project Management Training
Local Public Agency (LPA) projects give local agencies opportunities to improve their communities. But many agencies have little experience with these projects and can find the complexities of federally funded projects frustrating to deal with. Despite the availability of guidance on LPA project development and delivery, most agencies do not grasp the scope of these processes or fully understand the role they are to play in project administration. Developing an in-person training course on LPA project administration will help local agencies and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) staff have greater clarity on their responsibilities and lay the groundwork for more consistent statewide approach to LPA project administration.
