Evaluation of Early Degradation in Bridge Deck Concrete - Not Fiber Reinforced
The primary objective of this research project is to investigate bridge deck concrete (without fiber) used on Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) bridges in approximately the last 5-10 years for issues that have led to premature degradation, and recommend improvements for mix design and placement. The secondary objective of this research project is to better understand the cause of early degradation in bridge deck concrete used for UDOT projects.
