Guidance on Evaluating the Value of Large Datasets for Safety Analytics
The goals of this project include: (1) to establish a documented method for vetting external quantified behavioral data; (2) develop and pilot the method using a subset of data collected by Michelin Driving Data to Intelligence (DDI) from an area in Idaho; and (3) establish criteria for data completeness, statistical viability, and return on investment to consider for future data purchase.
