Off-Line and Real-Time Evaluations of Eastern Shore Sensors with a Generalized Detection Performance Monitoring System
The primary objectives of this study are to develop a detector performance monitoring system for both off-line and on-line applications, and implement the developed system to the Eastern-shore region’s current and proposed Wavetronix sensors. These sensors are in real-time mode to provide the detected traffic data for use in Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART) Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and for traffic professionals to access through the Regional Integrated Transportation Information System (RITIS) platform.
