Using Data and Analytics to Support Equitable Investments and Healthy Streets
The objective of this contract is to develop information that will help transportation practitioners gather data, conduct assessments, and form partnerships needed to more equitably invest in projects that would improve safety, health outcomes, natural environment, and quality of life in traditionally underserved areas, such as low-income communities and communities of color. The contractor will research ongoing or recent efforts by various bodies, including, but not limited to: U.S. DOT, TRB, AASHTO, APHA, CDC and other research entities and associations related to social determinants of health and transportation equity.
