Unintended Consequences of AVs on Infrastructure Owner-Operators
The objective of this research is to identify and postulate the various unintended consequences of AVs will allow infrastructure owner/operators, planners, and policy makers to consider courses of action in advance to mitigate the challenges as much as possible while AVs are introduced into the vehicle fleet. These impacts may require substantial changes to IOO staffing, funding, and business processes.
