Performance and Design of Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavements
The objective of this research is to update Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT's) current design procedure for new continuously reinforced concrete pavement roadways and add a procedure for Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP) overlays. The CRCP design framework will be finalized and implemented into Chapter 54 of the BED Manual with updates to performance calibration and subbase erodibility. An M-E CRCP overlay procedure will be added to Chapter 54 of the BDE Manual.
