Slope Repair and Maintenance Management System
The objectives of this implementation project are to (1) collect data and create layers of an existing TxDOT ArcGIS database for assessing conditions of slopes and slope repairs, (2) develop slope failure predictive models, (3) monitor slope failures, calibrate slope failure predictive models and update the location of critical segments of the corridors, (4) recommend rapid, resilient, and sustainable repair methods to prevent recurring failures, and (5) develop a repair and maintenance master plan. The project will be performed for TxDOT’s Paris District.
