Recommendations for Nondestructive Testing (NDT) of Concrete Components for Performance-Based Specifications
The objectives of the proposed research are to: 1. Document available concrete NDT tools and their use by transportation agencies. 2. Establish critical concrete material properties and suitable acceptance criteria for performance-based concrete material specifications. 3. Understand the underlying physics, reliability, and sensitivity of candidate NDT tools. 4. Validate the most promising NDT tools to demonstrate overall effectiveness
