Guidelines for Incorporation of Cement Stabilized Reclaimed Base (CSRB) in Pavement Design.
The objective of this project is to improve the reliability of the current Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) pavement design procedure for cement stabilized reclaimed base (CSRB) and to provide a recommendation for the steps necessary for the verification and calibration of CSRB into the Mechanistic Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG). Objective 1. Verify/calibrate the structural layer coefficient of CSRB. Objective 2. Verify/calibrate the MEPDG Level 2 relationship of the elastic modulus and unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of CSRB. Objective 3. Develop an implementation plan for CSRB of MEPDG.
