Transportation Research Synthesis: Preventive Maintenance and Inspection for Traffic Signals, Roadway Lighting and Overhead Sign Structures

This project will conduct a literature search and state-of-practice survey on preventive maintenance and inspection strategies to extend the life of traffic signals, roadway lighting and overhead sign structures. State wants to know agency expectations for the expected life of these assets, replacement criteria, and the cost and benefits of performing various preventive maintenance strategies.
