Rheology-Chemical Based Procedure to Evaluate Additives/Modifiers used in Asphalt Binders for Performance Enhancements (Phase 2)
The overall goal of the project will be to develop an advanced and systematic binder screening protocol that includes a long-term aging procedure for modified binders with rheological and chemical characterization methods. At the end of the proposed study, it is also expected that preliminary thresholds established in project ICT-R27-162 will be validated and fine-tuned based on various combinations of rheology-chemistry space diagrams.
