Analysis and Geospatial Modeling of Electric Vehicles Supply Equipment (EVSE) in California
During the 2017-18 academic year, this project will look at the Geospatial modeling of electric vehicles supply equipment (EVSE). This project is proposed as part of the STEPS 4 “flagship” project to develop a set of up to date geospatial models for future fuel infrastructure transition in California. The first step of the project is to understand the existing spatial modeling tools and identify the research needs. The research will conduct a critical literature survey by investigating the assumptions, inner logic and applicability of each model, and further discussing their capabilities, limitations and result disparities. The research is expected to result into one academic paper and one proposal for future research.
