Crowdsourcing Parking Data for Micromobility Vehicles
We propose to develop a mobile app that streamlines the reporting of mis-parked dockless scooters and bikes, relaying data to companies responsible and/or local governments while generating a data set that can support a variety of research questions. The bulk of the effort in this project will go into developing and piloting the app, with the goal of generating data that can be used in future research. Questions that can be addressed through this project can be divided into questions about the app and its effects and questions using data generated from the app.
