Timely, Dynamic, and Spatially Accurate Roadway Incident Information to Support Real-Time Management of Traffic Operations
The objective of this research is to develop a much more in depth understanding of current roadway incident information management at the district-wide level, including over 80 law enforcement agencies, their CAD and 911 systems. The research team will conduct a feasibility analysis and provide recommendations to develop a real-time, unified, consistent, accurately geolocated, and dynamically updated information stream, of district-wide roadway incidents, to support the District's traffic operations mission.
