Quality Assurance Review of Intersection Lighting Retrofits

The objectives of this project are: (1) Review lighting analysis design for selected intersections. (2) In the field, measure horizontal and vertical illumination (5ft above the surface) along centerline of each illuminated crosswalk at three points (left edge of pavement, center of roadway, right edge of pavement). Ensure that ambient lighting will not affect measurements. (3) Compare measured illumination values to theoretical illumination values from lighting analysis design.
