SPR-4325: Development of Volumetric Acceptance and Percent Within Limits (PWL) Criteria for Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) Mixtures in Indiana
Section 410 has a discrepancy between SMA design criteria and its acceptance. SMA adjusted pay points in Section 410.19 are not based on robust statistics. There is a need for the INDOT performance-related SMA PWL pay factors in order to assure pavement quality that INDOT invests for.
