Effect of Proximity of Sheet Pile Walls on the Apparent Capacity of Driven Displacement Piles, Phase 2

The objectives of this project are to: (1) Quantify the load capacities of the pile near the corner of an enclosed rectangular cofferdam after a sequential extraction of the corner-installed sheet pile walls (SPWs). (2) Cultivate design-oriented practical recommendations to account for SPW-associated temporary increases in driven pile resistance; and (3) Cultivate design-oriented practical recommendations for SPW-associated pile capacity reduction.
