Construction Safety and Phasing Plans
Currently, each airport is responsible for creating a construction safety and phasing plan (CSPP) based on the most recent edition of Federal Aviation Administration AC 150/5370-2G "Operational Safety on Airports During Construction". However, there seems to be a lack of collaboration in creating a CSPP among key stakeholders. A best practices guide will assist key stakeholders to find ways to better collaborate on these CSPPs through all aspects of the project. The objective of this research is to develop a best practices guide and checklist to assist airports in creating, implementing, and managing a CSPP.
