Transportation Research Synthesis: Continuous Green Tee (CGT) Alternative Intersection

MnDOT Research Services provides Transportation Research Syntheses (TRS), at the request of customers in various divisions of the department and members of the Local Road Research Board. A TRS is a type of literature review that synthesizes technical and/or policy information on a specific research topic. It typically includes a summary of completed and in-progress research on a subject and may also report on practices used in other states. Through this contract, CTC & Associates will work closely with Research Services in developing a state-of-practice survey on the use of Continuous Green Tee or Green-T (CGT) Intersections. The goal is to gauge the extent of their use, characterize the experiences that state Department of Transportations (DOTs) have had implementing and using them, and collect information about relevant design standards and other technical design guidance material.
