Blyncsy Field Comparison for Traffic Counting, Speed Binning and Vehicle Classification
The purpose of this study is to perform a statistical analysis to evaluate the accuracy and quality of the Bluetooth data collected by Blyncsy traffic counters in side-by-side comparison with Utah Department of Transportation's (UDOT’s) existing traffic counters, both radar and loop detectors, and determine whether the Blyncsy counter technology could be used, either in place of or to supplement existing technologies.
