Assessing Culverts in Minnesota: Fish Passage and Storm Vulnerability
The objective is to investigate the parameters of culvert design through a modeling study that integrates fish swimming ability for Minnesota fish species with current and future hydrologic scenarios. This project addresses: 1) the scope of aquatic organism passage through culverts in Minnesota; 2) ways to design road stream crossings to address extreme weather and climate change (including culvert sizing).
