Revegetation Success and Weed Resilience of Wyoming Right of Way Reclamation
The objectives for this project are to evaluate different reclamation seed mixes over the years to determine the rate of reseeding success and better define combinations of species and site variables that contribute to successful revegetation outcomes. The research team will also compare sites and seed mixes for resilience to invasion by high impact species such as cheat grass. Data will contribute to recommendations to maximize seeding success and minimize weeds, and will assist future evaluations of other vegetation factors, such as minimizing traffic/wildlife conflicts.
