Connected Vehicle to Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Support of Active Traffic Management

The objectives of this project are to: (1) identify connected vehicle (CV) applications that can be used to meet the objectives of urban street active traffic management (ATM) in Florida, (2) investigate various technical and institutional considerations in the planning, design, and deployment of the identified CV applications, (3) identify methods that can be used to select between CV applications and traditional applications as part of the system engineering process associated with ATM deployment, and (4) identify methods for post-deployment evaluation and performance measurements of CV applications to support urban street ATM.
