USGS Scan of Gasconade River Bridges

During the spring of 2017 Missouri had a flooding event that closed hundreds of roads. After a flooding event checking the safety of bridges for scouring can be challenging. Of particular concern were several bridges along the Gasconade River in mid-Missouri. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) used some of their scanning technology to quickly deploy to these locations to determine if there was any undermining of the bridge foundations.
