Local Road Research Board Strategic Plan Update

The outcome of this project is a Local Road Research Board (LRRB) Strategic Research Plan that identifies and documents the local agencies' research priorities, needs and operational structure. The project approach has two main components: stakeholder engagement and program analysis. The first component would engage LRRB stakeholders in a comprehensive program review to position LRRB's programs to address evolving transportation system needs, new technologies, and to more closely align investment allocations with the organization's overall mission, goals, practices, and outcomes. The second component involves reviewing existing plans, statutory language, past research and implementation materials and feedback/involvement on this analysis by local agencies and LRRB members. A Strengths, Weaknesses Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis is included in the second component.
