Dredging Louisiana’s Navigable Waterways-A Statewide Systematic Approach to Meeting Dredging Needs

The objectives of this research are to investigate the impacts of dredging in Louisiana has on its commerce, ports, waterways, and highways, and to investigate and recommend possible alternatives (e.g., advanced technologies, engineering solutions, funding, etc.) to complement traditional United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other navigation dredging activities in Louisiana.
