Using Genetics and Ecology to Identify Optimal Conservation Strategies for Florida Scrub-Jays (Aphelocoma coerulescens) Impacted by Habitat Loss

This project aims to sample Florida scrub-jays (FSJ) throughout Brevard and Indian River counties (including the I-95 Interchange project site) to assess how future habitat alterations will impact FSJ long-term survival and how population management can aid in that survival.
