Calibrating the Highway Safety Manual's Safety Prediction Tools for Kansas Freeways, Interchanges, Urban and Suburban Arterial Intersections

The main objective of this study is to calibrate the urban and suburban arterial intersection models provided in the Highway Safety Manual (HSM) for Kansas conditions. This project is expected to calibrate and then provide recommendations on suitability of all four different types of intersection models covered by the HSM.
