Traffic Volume and Aggregate Economic Activity: Implications for Taking the Pulse of the U.S. Economy

This task will investigate the link between traffic volume data and overall economic activities in the Metropolitan Area by constructing a time series of traffic volume growth information using different levels of aggregation which can serve as a predictor of future economic growth, i.e. employment, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth forecast and other economic related activities.
