Read by over 9,000 people, ACCESS was the California Transportation Foundation’s Organization of the Year, and won the American Planning Association’s award for Communications Initiative at both the California and National level. ACCESS translates academic research into readable prose that is useful for policymakers and practitioners. The expenses on this Task Order are associated with the editing, preparation, design, printing, and mailing of physical copies of Issue 48 (Spring 2016) and Issue 49 (Fall 2016) of ACCESS Magazine. Expenses are also associated with laying out the Spring 2016 and Fall 2016 issues (Issues #48 and #49) on the new website, www.accessmagazine.org, performing outreach for both issues including to local, state, and federal representatives who deal in transportation issues, and providing general office support (HR, Tech Support, etc.) to keep the magazine running.
