Transportation Asset Management Program

The objectives of this project is to: develop asset management program for Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilitie assets containing an inventory of specific assets, their condition, performance targets and a plan of how to achieve these targets in a cost effective and efficient manner through a mix of investments. Advance an Asset Management Improvement Strategy that will examine ADOTPF's proficiency and maturity in Asset Management practices, identify strengths and weaknesses, look at methodlolgies and practices, and set goals and objectives for continuous improvement.

    • Selected Agile Assets for Asset Management Systems (pavement, equipment and maintenance) in May 2016. Kickoff meetings held in July 2016. Project ongoing. Coming draft TAMP December 2016 and Pavement Report. Data governance P&P in draft form waiting for executive review. Data manual complete. Pavement Modeling Contract time extended. TAMP data sections complete. Regional planners submitted project selection criteria after numerous meetings. Still working on final. Draft pavement P&P still in review.
