Roller Compacted Concrete for Rapid Pavement Construction

The proposed project will investigate cost-effective, rapid pavement construction techniques that can reduce construction cost and duration. The roller roller-compacted concrete (RCC) with or without an asphalt topping will be investigated in this project. These types of pavement materials are usually zero slump concrete mixtures placed with conventional or high-density paving equipment, and then compacted with rollers.
