Chloride Diffusivity and Resistivity of Cured and Mature Binary/Ternary Concrete

The objectives of the project are: 1) to obtain correlations between Dnssm and Dnssd when performed on mature concrete specimens, 2) to obtain correlations between resistivity and Dnssm and resistivity and Dnssd, 3) compare Dnssd on lab specimens with Dapp obtained in recent years during field coring for cases with comparable composition, and 4) Correlate Dapp (outdoor) and Dnssd for comparable mixes. This information is important as to update and improve service life predictions for time to corrosion initiation and to better assess the duration of the corrosion propagation stage.
