Rehabilitation of Deteriorated Timber Piles using Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites

The objectives of this research project are to determine the best materials and in-situ rehabilitation techniques to be used for fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) repair through literature review and laboratory testing, and to develop simplified design methods for rehabilitating deteriorated timber piles using FRP wraps for use by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD).
