Concrete Tie/Fastener Performance Research
This project will demonstrate the fundamental research and development of concrete crossties and fastening systems subjected to freight, passenger and mixed service. The objective is to develop performance based design and testing standards for railroad crossties and fasteners to ensure high performance.
