Optimization of Pavement Surface Properties

This research will compile all the data collected as part of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Quiet Pavement Implementation Program, create a comprehensive database, analyze the relationship between the various pavement surface properties and vehicle response parameters, study their evolution over time and provide recommendations regarding the potential benefits of the best performing pavement surfaces.
