Implementation of RAS Best Practices and Piloting Rejuvenators in Key Districts

Under research project 0-6614, researchers developed a best practices guide for processing, mix design, production, and construction of mixes using recycled asphalt shingles (RAS). Additionally, researchers identified three rejuvenators which improve cracking resistance and performance, cost less and preserves the environment. The purpose of this implementation project is to demonstrate the benefits of the three rejuvenators in key Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Districts and to develop and present training workshop materials in four TxDOT regions.
