Accuracy, Consistency, and Reliability of Raw Traffic Data from Vehicle Detection Systems
To provide an unbiased assessment of the State of the Practice of vehicle detection systems currently approved and deployed in Florida, and to provide quantifiable and documented evidence of detection system performance to be used to update or establish minimum data quality requirements for certain operations, programs, and systems within FOOT and identify the technology type(s) and product(s) most suitable for field data collection given those requirements and improve test methods for evaluating system performance.
