Development & Implementation of Updated Urban Regional Flood Frequency Equations for Illinois (Phase 2 Study)
The objective of the proposed research is to update the 1979 Illinois urban regional flood-frequency study of northeastern Illinois drainage basins to 2010 land-use conditions and implement the resulting adjustment equations for use throughout urbanized areas in Illinois in the on-line application StreamStats. The rural regional flood-frequency equations for northeastern Illinois will also be updated in order to ensure consistency between the two studies.
