Research for the AASHTO Standing Committee on Planning. Task 30. Workshop on Issues in Intermodal Connectors

In order to assist American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), this task is intended to identify experts on issues surrounding intermodal connectors, including United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Office of Intermodalism, FIRE, ports, urban Metropolitan Planning Organization's (MPO's), state Department's of Transportation (DOT's), and other experts on intermodal freight. Prepare relevant background materials (e.g., legislative issues, organizational approaches) that can support a workshop on issues and approaches to improve intermodal connectors.
