Airport Passenger Terminal Design Library

Over the years, ACRP and other entities have produced many documents related to airport passenger terminal planning and design. One of the most popular and widely used reports is ACRP Report 25: Airport Passenger Terminal Planning and Design (Guidebook and Spreadsheet Models), which provides guidance to airport operators on common issues related to planning and design of airport passenger terminals. Other airport passenger terminal-related ACRP reports are Report 52: Airport Signage and Wayfinding, Report 68: Guidebook for Evaluating Terminal Renewal Versus Replacement Options, Report 10: Innovations for Airport Terminal Facilities, Report 96: Apron Planning and Design and Report 109: Improving Terminal Design to Increase Revenue Generation Related to Customer Satisfaction, among others. In addition, other sources such as the “FAA Advisory Circular, Planning and Design Guidelines for Airport Terminal Facilities” and the “IATA Airport Development Reference Manual” contain related design guidelines. There is a need to consolidate and catalogue this research for ease of reference and use among airport practitioners and stakeholders. The Library can be accessed through:
