Reliability Evaluation of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall Straps
This project will review the quality assurance for acceptance of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall straps used to support embankments in bridge constructions. Objectives include: 1. Determine whether the strap can be accepted using sample displacement data under a certain pull force. 2. Propose the size of additional quality assurance testing if the current test results cannot guarantee the risk allowed by the agency. 3. Establish a boundary condition for acceptance on sample mean and standard deviation against sample size.
