Optimized Mobile Retroreflectivity Unit (MRU) Data Processing Algorithms

The objective of this project is to use the Florida Department of Transportation/University of North Florida (FDOT/UNF) team's in-depth knowledge of Mobile Retroreflectivity Unit (MRU) technology combined with the existing infrastructure of the FDOT (MRU equipment, calibration bay) and UNF (data acquisition equipment, LabVIEW software) to identify, develop, and test different data processing algorithms. This research will include lab testing, calibration bay testing, and on-road testing to improve the MRU performance.
