Advanced Analysis, Validation and Optimization of Virtual Cement and Concrete Testing
The research project will utilize materials that have been previously studies (to verify the validity of the VCCTL software), as well as materials specific to Florida, and materials used in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specified mixture designs. The proposed research will investigate the use of the VCCTL software with respect to the analysis and prediction of behavior of cementitious concrete materials. The main objective is, using VCCTL, to develop methods, precision, and limitations relating to intelligent portland cement concrete mix design, using raw materials typically used in FDOT mix designs.
