Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Resistance Factors for Augercast In Place Piles

The objectives of this project are to: (1) collect load test results on ACIP foundations and incorporate them into the deep foundations database; (2) evaluate design methods against load test results; (3) analyze and reduce the data to obtain the required parameters for calibration of resistance factors; (4) develop resistance factors for the methods that provide the best estimates of resistance; (5) provide recommendations for design, along with examples for different soil types; and (6) provide recommendations for evaluation of the required minimum number of load tests per site.
