Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Interoperability Integration
The purpose of this proposed Year 11 project is the following: (1) implement the results of requirements determined in the Year 7 project which is the deployment of a prototype Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) to CAD information sharing system in the Lower Hudson Valley region; (2) deploy a prototype CAD interface to the Cellular Enhanced 911 system; (3) implement a prototype system to send accident scene/crash damage snapshot video from HELP/police to the HVTMC and trauma centers; (4) deployment of additional mobile data terminals into New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) maintenance vehicles, to interface with ARWIS technology; and (5) document and evaluate the implementation of the above to use as model systems to implement other such projects in the I-95 Corridor Coalition region.
