Panama Canal Expansion Study
The United States Maritime Administration (MARAD) is currently revising the final Phase I Report and will submit the revised report for review and approval by the Maritime Administrator and the Office of the Secretary of Transportation by the end of August 2012. Planning for the proposed Panama Canal Expansion Study (PCES) Listening Session in Washington, DC is ongoing. After the Phase I Report is approved by the Maritime Administrator and the Secretary, it is intended that the report will be made available for distribution to the public before the planned Listening Session.
