Setting Safe Limits on Biodiesel Constituents for Pipeline Integrity

The objectives of this research project are to: (1) understand the effects of minor constituents beyond the ASTM D 6751 on corrosivity of biodiesel under pipeline specific conditions, (2) develop safe limits for any deleterious constituents in biodiesel, and (3) develop a method to rapidly monitor biodiesel corrosivity in terms of any deleterious effect on pipeline integrity.
