Corrosion and Integrity Management of Biodiesel Pipelines

This project combines topics 1 and 2 concerning Biodiesel Pipelines. The first objective is to investigate the performance of selected corrosion inhibitors commonly used in diesel transportation and determine whether new corrosion-related issues could arise from the use of biodiesel blends above B5. The second objective is to understand and quantify the degradation of non-metallic and non-ferrous metallic pipeline components in biodiesel blends above B5.
